For years, Clarke CPA & Consulting has been providing quality, personalized financial guidance to local individuals and businesses. Clarke CPA & Consulting's expertise ranges from basic tax management and accounting services to more in-depth services such as financial statements, financial and retirement strategies and small business consulting.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help clients maintain financial viability in the present while taking a proactive approach to achieve future goals. This requires open communication to reach an understanding of our clients' needs, thorough research, and sound analysis. Clarke CPA & Consulting is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism.
Our Team
David has worked with individuals and small businesses for over 25 years. His commitment to his clients and the profession is exemplified by his willingness to explore and implement ideas and strategies to help those he works with achieve their goals. He brings a wealth of experience in dealing with small businesses, having dealt in areas such as financing, personnel, profit improvement and with business succession issues.
Over the years many clients have turned to David for advice with their various financial and retirement strategies. Seeing the need for qualified advisers in this area, he satisfied the stringent requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
David and his family live in rural Murphysboro and share their home with a plethora of pets that include a dog, cats, fish and a gecko. He is active in various civic organizations, and enjoys spending time with family and friends, exercising, home projects, tennis and golf (it is the high score that wins, right?).

Pam is a life-long resident of Murphysboro and has been with the firm since the fall of 1990. She has over 25 years experience related to bookkeeping and payroll over 10 years experience assisting with and preparing tax returns. Pam enjoys gardening, outside activities in general, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren (with pictures always close by).
Robin graduated from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, with a BS in Accountancy in May, 1986 and successfully completed the CPA exam the following November. She began her professional career with a “Big Eight” public accounting firm and has since spent time in the not-for-profit and private business arenas. Robin is a long-term resident of southern Illinois and enjoys spending time outdoors gardening and hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
B.J., as she is known by her friends and family, joined the firm in 2006 and quickly defined the role of “Director of First Impressions”. Her fresh perspective and exuberance have greatly contributed to a more effective, efficient, productive and friendly office. B.J. and her husband reside in Murphysboro with Jake, a Boston terrier mix that keeps them company while they work outside, go hiking and when they visit “Grandma”.
